Rituals

Host Terms

Last updated 28 October 2026

These terms apply when you host a ritual on Rituals, in addition to the Terms of Use and the Community Guidelines. They are an agreement between you and the operator of Rituals named on the Contact page ("Rituals", "we").

1. Your role

You run your sessions as an independent provider, in your own name and at your own risk. You are not an employee, agent or partner of Rituals. Rituals provides the platform where guests find and book your sessions and, for sessions paid in the app, collects payment on your behalf and pays your share to you.

2. Kinds of hosts

3. Your listings

4. Running a session

5. Your guests' information

You receive information about your guests (name, photo, sports level, check-in, request notes, signed waivers, and, for paid seats, names in your earnings) only to run your sessions. Keep it confidential and secure, do not use it for marketing or share it with anyone else, and delete what you no longer need. You are responsible for your own use of it under data protection law.

6. Payments in the app

7. Fees

ItemWho paysAmount
CommissionYou15% of the price you keep for a seat, only when the guest found the session through Explore and had not attended any of your sessions at the time they booked. Guests who come through your own link or an invite, or who have attended your sessions before: 0%.
Processing feeYou1.5% of the price you keep for each paid seat plus 0.25 in the session's currency (€0.25 in euro), a set fee that covers card processing costs.
Booking feeThe guest0.99 in the session's currency (€0.99 in euro) per seat paid in the app, none for Pass members. It is Rituals' and does not come out of your price.

Your Earnings screen shows, for each date, the seats paid, the commission and card fees, and what you get. We may change fees for the future by telling you at least 30 days in advance.

8. Payouts

9. Cancellations and refunds

10. Disputes and chargebacks

If a guest's bank disputes a payment, Rituals answers the dispute with Stripe, using the booking, waiver, check-in and chat records; please help with any information we ask for. If the dispute is lost because the session did not take place as listed, we may take your share for that seat back from your Stripe account.

11. Taxes and legal duties

You are responsible for declaring your income and for any taxes, social contributions and invoices that apply to your sessions, and for complying with the laws that apply to your activity. Where the law requires, we collect information about hosts and their earnings and report it to the tax authorities (for example under EU Council Directive 2021/514, known as DAC7).

12. Suspension and ending

You can stop hosting at any time; sessions with guests booked must still be run or cancelled under section 9. We may limit, suspend or end your hosting, and hold transfers under section 8, if you break these terms, the Terms of Use, the Community Guidelines or the law, or if guests' safety is at risk. We tell you why and you can appeal as described in the Terms of Use. Payouts for sessions you ran properly remain yours.
